The value also must be modified to allow for an increase in supplies than originally anticipated due to extended term and increased winter maintenance activity., Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: The Department has a greater requirement for delivery of supplies through the contact than originally expected, due to the increasing need to undertake winter maintenance activity. The overall nature of contract has not been altered and the increase does not exceed 50% of original contract value, taking into account inflation.
