Coverage: 21 active published awards; 21 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Trust therefore requires the appropriate public sector service redesign, demand and capacity, and economic modelling expertise to identify and evidence the demand, capacity and benefits of the key elements of the acute and community bed base as the resulting assumptions have material implications for BFF and the New Hospital Programme business case.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe Trust needs to work with an expert organisation that has the appropriate level of expertise and <br/>Moorhouse Consulting are the recommended supplier because they are on the SBS Consult 18: Multidisciplinary Consultancy Services with competitive rates. They are already working with the Sussex ICB and have completed the case for change for virtual wards (accelerating virtual ward development at scale across Sussex ICB) to inform the virtual ward project and are continuing to support the ICB programmes. Moorhouse have developed a model for virtual ward and HomeFirst for the Sussex system and the economic modelling will be similar. They also have access to national evidence which will be essential for this project. |
