Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 42. The category anchor is Lifting and handling equipment (42410000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

"description": "The framework is currently divided into eight lots including:\n- Independent Statutory Inspections- The Utilities require the delivery of thorough & working examinations, testing, Inspection reports, technical advice, written schemes of examination to comply with statutory regulations. The Utilities has circa 38,000 items of equipment requiring statutory examination including Lifting Equipment - Fixed and Loose, Pressure Vessels, Local Exhaust Ventilation and Personal Safety Equipment - Harnesses, Man Riding etc.\n- Inspection of Pump Chains- The Utilities are seeking an organisation to carry the thorough inspection of pump chains across the entire STW estate. The activity will include the controlled lifting of assets to allow a full, detailed inspection of the pump chain and shackle, and the production of an inspection report. The Utilities have circa 2,000 pump chains across the whole region mainly associated with sewage pumping operations but up to 100 chains are located on water treatment facilities.\n- Crane Servicing- The Utilities are seeking for an operation to complete servicing and maintenance of powered, overhead cranes with the provision to supply new, replacement cranes / hoists as required. The Utilities operates approximately 1235 powered, overhead cranes. The equipment is spread across sites of varying size including Water & Sewage Treatment Works, Sewage & Water Pumping Stations and Operational Bases.\n- Supply & Install of Lifting Equipment- The Utilities requires supply, delivery, installation and repair of lifting equipment such as fixed lifting equipment i.e. swing jibs, lifting beams, gantries, davit sockets etc. and portable / loose lifting equipment i.e. portable davits, tripods, shackles, chains, slings etc. In addition there will be a requirement to supply, install and repair vehicle mounted lifting equipment. The requirement will also include the design and manufacture of lifting equipment to meet the specific operational requirements of Severn Trent Water's business. The Utilities operates approximately 30,000 pieces of lifting equipment across circa.3500 sites.\n- Pressure Vessels- This lot is for the supply, delivery and installation of pressure vessels such as air receivers, accumulators and surge protection vessels including associated fittings as required. Also the refurbishment of existing pressure systems including re-coating of vessels internally and externally. Finally design and build technical support and hydraulic analysis of systems. The Utilities has approximately 995 pressure vessels including 'bag type' accumulators and surge protection vessels, vertical and horizontal air receivers for compressed air used in various processes and applications.\n- BA Compressor Servicing- The Utilities are seeking an organisation for routine servicing, maintenance and air purity testing of compressors used for the charging of breathing apparatus air cylinders. The Utilities operates 15 breathing apparatus compressors at various sites across the region.\n-Hydraulic Jack Serving- This lot is for the servicing and maintenance of hydraulic jacks and hydraulic lifting equipment used for operational maintenance tasks. The Utilities operates approximately 220 hydraulic jacks. \n- Mobile Load Cell Servicing- This lot is for the calibration, servicing and maintenance of load cells used for lifting operations within the Utilities Region. The work is to be carried out at the location of the equipment. The Utilities operates approximately 770 load cells. The equipment is spread across various sites including Water & Sewage Treatment Works, Sewage & Water Pumping Stations and Operational Bases."
