- Why no open competition
- only one supplier could deliver (user choice)
- Published justification
This contract is to cover an identified requirement for an individual requiring care and support outside of our standard frameworks, where our frameworks are unable to meet the need. Decisions to place with this organisation have been made in line with the Care Act 2014 requirements, allowing for choice around the individuals care. After consultation with the individual and authorised representatives around the more…
choice of their care, taking into account factors such as location of the care and financial aspects, it was determined that to deliver the wishes of the individual that only one particular provider is able to accommodate all of the above. The user choice justification would therefore apply to this contract.
