Coverage: 1 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleOn admission, the patient showed significant risks of dysregulation with aggression and violent behaviours. As well as other challenging behaviours that pose a risk of harm to the patient and carers. Therefore, highly specialised Health Care professionals were required immediately. The requirement for a 24/7 care package has been offered to contracted agencies and no agencies were able to provide staff with the volume or continuity and reliability required. There is not a contracted agency able to provide a package only ad hoc service. In line with regulation 32(2)(b), competition is absent for technical reasons and no reasonable alternative or substitute exists due to the need to ensure continuity and reliable care for the patient's wellbeing. With patient risk in mind, the only option is to implement a reliable continuing health care package with Thornbury Nursing Services. |
