Coverage: 439 active published awards; 436 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This is an exploration exercise to identify what external services are available to support an expected increase in demand associated to Care and Support Needs Assessments, Financial Assessments, and Care Account Set-up for Adult Social Care.
Leicestershire County Council is seeking options for the most cost-effective ways to manage the expected increase in demand whilst acknowledging the challenges around workforce capacity. It is exploring what digital solutions will help promote and encourage self-serve to reduce the impact on the workforce and the need to increase staff levels.
This exercise will provide an opportunity for the Council to obtain insight into how potential organisations might approach the delivery of the supply and services in question. It also gives useful early insight into the likely level of interest in a proposed project from that market.
