The Service is carrying out a strategic service review programme which involves re-modelling of its operational approach and use of support services. IT will not be in a position to state its final requirements to the market until after this review is complete. As soon as that has been completed, a new specification will be drawn up and exposed to open competition
- Review procedure
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service must, by notice in writing as soon as possible after the decision has been made, inform all tenderers and candidates of its decision to award the contract, conclude the framework agreement or establish a dynamic purchasing system. Details on legal means of redress are set out within the regulations.
