What is being bought
Sigmoidoscopy Service - A sigmoidoscopy is a diagnostic test used to check the sigmoid colon which is the lower part of your colon or large intestine. This service shall provide a sigmoidoscopy test to the adult population of East Staffordshire as part of a managed care pathway. This is a zero based contract based on activity and locally agreed tariff. The expenditure for 2023/24 was circa £5,000. This notice is for a Direct Award C PSR process to commence from the 29th of October 2024 to 31st of December 2025 bringing the lifetime value of the contract to the value of circa £5,000. Under the test for considerable change this is within the permitted criteria (not exceeding £500,000 and 25%).
