Coverage: 4 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleA new five-year Education Programme in Sierra Leone is being developed to begin implementation September 2022. The gap in implementation between the two programmes creates a major risk; both in terms of stopping critical support to the education services, but also a reputational risk for FCDO due to the size of the programmes and as the lead donor in Sierra Leone. A further 6-month extension will bridge the gap to ensure support to girls' education is maintained and ensure a responsible transition to the new programme and suppliers.
