Coverage: 12 active published awards; 12 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe software which is an integral requirement for the processing of camera originated offences and there would be significant inconvenience and cost to change supplier. The additional costs include a new viewing system and server. There would also be significant internal costs to move to a new system and to tailor it to Leicestershire Police Road Safety Unit requirements.
It is considered that the upgrade and a continuation until 31st March 2014 provides the most cost and resource effective solution .both now and into the medium term. |
