What is being bought
National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) is looking for a consultancy to carry out a technical feasibility assessment on how energy storage could help manage constraints on the electricity transmission network between 2022-2030. The selected consultancy will perform technical analysis and present a finalised report back to the ESO by December 2021. The report will outline details from 4 related work-packages including recommendations based on the analysis undertaken. We invite consultancies who will want to bid for this work to submit an Expression of Interest to our Request for Information by 5pm (BST) on 10 June 2021.
