CKH now wishes to undertake a soft market testing exercise to explore various re-commissioning options for the new procurement and to consider the current market appetite for the proposed scope of work. From April 2024, and following the conclusion of this soft market testing exercise, CKH will start preparations for the procurement exercise for the new contract. The new contract is expected to commence in 2026, and CKH envisages a mobilisation period will be required ahead of the new contract starting.
