What is being bought

Published requirement description

As part of an exploratory phase helping to shape our future strategy for resource management of our people, spaces and equipment, this Request for Information (RFI) is live with the aim of gaining a current picture of potential available resource scheduling solutions suitable for a global organisation the size and scale of the BBC.

We expect different vendors to offer solutions which range in functionality, cost model and out of the box integrations.

In the short term, there is no intention to move to a procurement stage but it’s important that that the BBC maintains a clear and up to date understanding of potential options to help shape and inform its resource scheduling solution roadmap so that timely consideration can be given to future options and investment justification.

Publisher note: In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions and Services Limited) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders. However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous (by reference to the award criteria) will be made by the BBC. The awarding authority reserves the right not to award a contract and to annul the procurement process at any stage. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in sterling and all payments will be made in sterling. The contract shall be subject to English law. The awarding authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any tender and reserves the right to accept part of a tender unless the tenderer expressly stipulates otherwise in the tender document.
