Lot details

Lot 1

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is reviewing how best to ensure staff develop appropriate skills and experience in delivering organisational resilience. This is likely to include training courses (virtual, classroom based, hybrid or e-learning) and on-site exercises based on industry best practice such as Business Continuity Institute guidelines. Typical topics may include business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, risk management etc., but may also cover more general Health and Safety, Data Protection and other compliance areas etc. Ideally, suppliers would be specialists in delivering training in these areas and be able to add value by advising on options to meet identified training needs where skills need to be sub-contracted. The SPCB is inviting interested suppliers to make contact to discuss how best to approach the tender, including general approach, likely delivery methods, suppliers accreditations and other industry standards etc. If you would like to share your views with us, please contact procurement@parliament.scot by 13 May 2022 to express your interest. The purchaser will then arrange a suitable time to meet (virtually) with you. Additional information: The procurement approach for this requirement has not yet been finalised, so responding to this notice is not a guarantee that you will be invited to tender.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 80. The category anchor is Education and training services (80000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
