What is being bought
NI Water is seeking RFI questionnaire responses from interested suppliers who currently supply and deliver either mechanical sundries, electrical sundries, hand tools or power tools. The purpose of the RFI is to help NIW select the best procurement strategy to meet this requirement in the future. The categories of mechanical sundries in scope include, but are not limited to, the following: Bolts, drive belts, galvanized steel pipes, valves, lubricants, PTFE tubing, hose accessories and pumps. The categories of electrical sundries in scope include, but are not limited to, the following: Batteries, cables, actuators, cable glands, contactors/relays, wiring cable accessories, sockets/switches, proximity switches, circuit breakers, fuses, ICA equipment (telemetry, terminals, radio, level & flow, signal isolators, trip amps, PSU) and electrical testing and sensor equipment. The categories of hand tools in scope include, but are not limited to, the following: Saws & replacement blades, clamps, knives & replacement blades, files, scrapers, chisels, hammers, pliers, cutters, screwdrivers sets, wrenches, spanners, pipe cutters, scissors, sockets sets & drivers, torque tools and pry bars. The categories of power tools in scope include, but are not limited to, the following: Drills, drivers & screwdrivers, saws, impact wrenches, grinders & cutters, routers & trimmers, air tools, compressors & compactors, welding & soldering, drills, augers, countersinks, hole cutters & bits, power washers, extension leads and transformers. The RFI questionnaire is currently available to complete and you can request a copy via email at sourcing@niwater.com, FAO Lisa Crossey. Requests are to be made no later than 3pm on Wednesday 5th May 2021.
