| supplier not published | — | 3 Jul 2026 | CancelledThe procurement process for the Lift Works Project, Kampala has been terminated. Although a successful bidder had been identified, the contract was not executed due to the parties' inability to reach agreement on financial and contractual terms. The bidder requested a 50% advance payment but was unable to provide the financial security and supporting documentation, including a bank guarantee, required by the Autghority for risk mitigation and safeguarding purposes. As a result, no contract was signed, and the procurement process has been cancelled. A new procurement process will be commenced in due course and will be advertised through the appropriate channels. |
