- Why no open competition
- The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the directive
- Published justification
A compliant Framework Direct Award process was undertaken via G-Cloud 14 using the Contract Award Service (CAS). Multiple keyword searches and filtering criteria were applied in accordance with G-Cloud guidance to generate a longlist and subsequent shortlist of suppliers. Following application of the agreed search and filtering criteria, only one supplier remained capable of meeting all mandatory functional, technical and service requirements. The supplier's service offering was reviewed against the Trust's requirements and was confirmed as fully compliant. In accordance with the direct award provisions of the G-Cloud 14 Framework, the supplier was therefore selected for direct award without further competition.
