What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionFolkestone and Hythe District Council (FHDC) wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the recovery, repair, and reinstatement of six 32t precast concrete walkway units located at Mermaid Beach, Folkestone and invites organisations to submit a tender to meet FHDC's requirements.
This tender will be conducted using a one-stage 'open' procedure.
The contract is anticipated to start October 2026 and continue for a period of 3 months (with capacity to extend by up to one month or as required).

- Project delivery: Outline how you will deliver the works required at Mermaid Beach. Your answer should include • Mobilisation • Resourcing • Project management (Max 750 words)
- Safety management: Explain how you will manage the safety of members of the public and your operatives during delivery of the works, given the site is located on a public access beach. You should include how you will secure the site to prevent access to the public during the works. (Max 500 words)
