What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionUK SBS wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of the low value laboratory equipment (low value meaning GBP 10 000-GBP 200 000). UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the 'Regulations').
The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) shall be in operation for a period of 2 years with the option to extend + 1 + 1 years.
The DPS will be broken down into 41 categories:
If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your request to participate, you will be invited to submit tenders for relevant service requirements through a call for competition.
The DPS is open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its 2-year duration. The initial deadline, which has passed, for requests to participate was 11.00 on 12 November 2020, although this is the initial joining phase, suppliers are able to submit their proposal at any time during the life of the contract.
The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend and there will be no form of exclusivity or volume guarantee under this DPS.
