RBGE Winter illuminated trail

Production and Management of a winter illuminated trail event at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE). We are looking to hear from interested parties who can provide the above service including offering event production, management and promotion of an illuminated trail event, deliver all aspects of the creative design, installation and event management at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. The content of the illuminated trail will be devised and developed in collaboration with relevant RBGE staff and will be expected to utilise the unique setting of the Garden, highlighting points of interest in the Living Collection together with areas of seasonal and historical interest. The content will be required to include, but not limited to, light installations, audio and visual effects. The duration for customers is expected to average a 60 minute dwell-time. Suitable contractors will have experience of producing and managing large scale outdoor installation and promenade events for/with visitor attractions and/or cultural venues. They are also expected to have an appreciation and understanding of the environment the Illuminated Trail event will be delivered in and the importance of the Royal Botanic Garden’s Living Collection. The Illuminated Trail event will be delivered annually, in November and December, for the duration of the contract period commencing 2023. Planning for the event has a 12-month lead time. Additional information: It is expect the contact for the concession will be up to 7 years. Concession model will be used for the delivery of the contact (profit share model) Expect to publish tender document in June 2022
