The current contract is due to expire in July 2022.The University accommodates c. 3500 students across 9 different locations in purpose-built blocks and converted house accommodation. The internet provision needs to support a changing teaching environment, with more hybrid learning requiring students to attend lectures on line, as well as meeting the demands of the users requiring connection to multiple devices, both wired and wireless across multiple platforms. With students requiring greater bandwidth speeds and wireless connectivity, the University wishes to continue to upgrade the current infrastructure to reach the provision of 6e by 2024.
