UKHSA awarded a contract, to MGE Automation Limited for the supply purchase of a bespoke TLD Wrapper machine for its Chilton campus in Didcot. This equipment is required by the Personal Dosimetry Service, which provides the measurement and recording of radiation doses for radiation workers. The wrapping machine will complement an existing wrapping machine and will wrap, seal, allocate, and print customer information onto each Whole Body Card issued to a customer.

    UKHSA require the supplier of a bespoke TLD Wrapper machine at its campus in Chilton, Didcot as more particularly described in “Preliminary market engagement notice_TLD Wrapper” and “TLD Wrapper_Specification,” documents available upon request.

    UKHSA is currently only aware of one supplier that can provide this product, being “MGE Automation Limited”

    UKHSA is seeking notes of interest by of anyone that can and would like the opportunity to provide this product.

    Suppliers should note their interest by email to:

    [email protected] with the subject: Bespoke TDL Wrapper to request copies of the RFI documents.

    UKHSA will use this information to determine its strategy for procuring these services. UKHSA may follow up for further consultation with those interested.

    The deadline for responses to the RFI is XXXX July 2025 at 5pm.
