The awarding of these contracts is subject to the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime, Direct Award B, regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provision of Public Contracts Regulations 20215 do not apply to this award. The activity of these contracts is based on patient choice by providing access to public health services through multiple Pharmacies in Kent, allowing patients to select the most more…convenient provider for the services provided. The estimated lifetime value for all of these contracts is £76,666.82 (VAT exempt). These contracts are awarded to existing providers in Kent for an existing service which these pharmacies have been providing since 2023. The Authority has identified 62 participating community pharmacies that satisfy the requirements for service delivery. Patients retain the ability to choose amongst participating providers and the Authority does not restrict the number of providers eligible to deliver the service. Initial term 1st October 2026 to 31st March 2028, with the option to extend further by 28 months (end date: 31st July 2030)
