Provision of Cardiac Cath Lab Managed Service

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are also a partner within the North West London Integrated Care System (ICS).<br/><br/>The cardiology service at Trust, based at Hammersmith Hospital (W12 0HS), is a world-class tertiary referral cardiac centre led by specialists with academic interests and leaders in their field. We use cutting-edge clinical innovations to treat and prevent heart conditions and offer a full range of investigations, treatments and management for cardiac conditions.<br/><br/>Our cardiology service treats the following conditions:<br/>• Ischaemic heart disease<br/>• Arrhythmia and electrophysiology<br/>• Cardiac pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD)<br/>• Pulmonary hypertension<br/>• Valvular heart disease<br/>• Structural heart disease<br/>• Cardio-renal disease<br/>• Heart failure<br/>• Hypertension<br/>• Lipid disorders<br/>• Syncope<br/>• Inherited cardiac conditions<br/><br/>We have 5 cardiac cath labs at Hammersmith which are managed under contract by an external provider until 31st October 2023. We are currently considering options for the future provision of cath lab services beyond this date so intend to engage with the market via formal preliminary market consultation in accordance with Regulations 40 and 41 of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015 to understand the level of market interest and to gather information from market suppliers with a view to preparing a public procurement exercise, and to also inform prospective bidders of our procurement plans. <br/><br/>Suppliers are invited to complete and return a trust questionnaire document which requests feedback on specific elements of the intended procurement process.
