The Council is seeking a genuine partnership with a Developer to explore and develop the means to achieve the following key objectives: 1. Maximise land receipt for the Council; 2. Deliver high quality sustainable design with distinct character to showcase this residential-led site as a gateway to Meridian Water; 3. Commitment to the long-term quality of the scheme with high quality placemaking and a robust estate management approach; 4. Provide a mix of housing tenures, affordable to Londoners at a range of incomes; 5. Deliver the scheme at pace and maintain momentum to deliver homes and active ground floor uses; and 6. Provide engaging non-residential uses and attractive public realm that will drive additional public footfall and enhance the location as a gateway to Meridian Water. It should be noted that the estimated total value shown in II.1.5) and II.2.6) is an expression of the estimated gross development value. Additional information: The Council reserves the right to terminate the process at any time prior to award of contract. The Council does not bind itself to accept any tender received and reserves the right to call for new tenders should they consider this necessary.
