What is being bought
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent Police has published this notice in order to identify suppliers who are able to offer it’s staff private healthcare via a voluntary salary sacrifice scheme.
The scheme must offer:
-Access to medical diagnosis;
-Medical Treatments, including approved procedures within the scheme
-Access to physiotherapy - face-to-face and virtual sessions with a physiotherapist.
-24/7 GP Helpline
-Mental Health Support, such as a 24/7 mental health helpline
-The same flat rate to all employees, regardless of age or medical history or pre-existing conditions – a one cost for all approach.
-All employees to be accepted, regardless of age or medical history or pre-existing conditions.
Additionally, the scheme may offer:
-Employee rewards and benefits - Discounted Health Assessments, Cash Plans, Travel Insurance and Home Insurance, Discounts on self-funded treatments.
-health app, including wellbeing information
-Care and social care advice
-Cancer Support - access to an experienced nurse who will provide emotional and practical support and advice.
