What is being bought

The vision for the new Oldham Events Space is to create a new Events Space that will be known across Oldham and Greater Manchester as a centre for Music, Culture, Conferences and Community Events. It will be known as a space that’s open for use across all demographics and a space that creates its own identity, a space that is used throughout the day 7 days a week for events of varying scales from small community events to a space for local cultural talent to develop through to commercial conferences and events for 500+ people.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 92. The category anchor is Recreational, cultural and sporting services (92000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
