The Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland and NHS Wales wish to investigate with a completion of a pre market engagement questionnaire and possible product awareness session. The pre market engagement questionnaire will provide a brief introduction and background information on Luer Lock Syringes and use with syringe drivers and pain pumps. The questionnaire will be used to assist the Contracting Authority and Trusts in both regions to gain an understanding of A. The ability of the supply base to fully appreciate and consider the particular requirements surrounding luer lock syringes B. Maintain value for money for HSCNI and NHS Wales if potential re calibration of syringe drivers and pumps for drug treatments are needed. C. To identify solutions to the management of clinical risks, additional financial costs and logistical/workload issues for HSCNI and NHS Wales if potential re calibration of syringe drivers and pumps for drug treatments are needed. If further engagement is required we will hold a product awareness Q and A session. This session will be a opportunity for relevant suppliers to provide further information of what is currently available or practiced in the marketplace. If required the product awareness session will be held via a 30 minute Teams Meeting week commencing 9th October 2023 If invited for a product awareness session an invite will be sent week commencing 2nd October 2023. Please note these sessions will be limited as deemed appropriate by the Authority.
