Play Parks Project Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC)

As a minimum, Providers on this lot would be expected to be capable of supplying and delivering the following products and services as instructed by the Authority's Parks Teams:

• Removal of existing equipment and making good surfaces.
• Maintenance, refurbishment, and reinstallation of the existing types of play park equipment shown in Appendix 1 of the PMC documentation.
• Repair of existing types of play park surfaces.
• Reinstallation of repaired and refurbished equipment.
• Replacement and installation of existing types of equipment shown in Appendices 1 and 2 of the PMC documentation with items that are closely similar or the same.

As a minimum, providers on this lot would be expected to be capable of supplying and delivering the following products to the Authority's parks teams:

• Supply of goods, replacement parts and equipment as shown in Appendix 2 of the PMC documentation.
• Replacement play park surfaces.
• No installation would be required within this lot

As a minimum, providers on this lot would be expected to be capable of supplying and installing the following products and services:

• Provision of new equipment of the same or closely similar type as described in Appendix 3 of the PMC documentation.
• Installation of appropriate surfacing for the new equipment provided.
• Opportunity for innovation and new ideas within this lot

Providers on this lot would be expected to be capable of providing the annual ROSPA inspection report to the British and European safety standard BS EN1176 as required by the Health and Safety Executive.

This lot would be awarded to a sole provider and potentially would include a separate budget cap for this contract.
