Coverage: 284 active published awards; 282 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Essex County Council are currently participating in the Department for Transport pilot electric scooter hire scheme. We are currently exploring our options for the future of our E-Scooter Hire Schemes through a concession arrangement. The main purpose of this Market Engagement is to discover which providers would be interested in delivering on this requirement, and to understand any considerations we may need to take into account.
Please note that this is a soft market test to collect information, and this is not a request for quotation or invitation to tender. The Authority is still considering it's options for this requirement, and therefore cannot currently make any firm commitments on our plans.
