Pendulum & Broadcast & Watchsted Inspector Modules

North Yorkshire Council, along with other Local Authorities and government departments, holds membership with the National Consortium for Examination Results (NCER), a not-for-profit organisation that collates education-related metrics and benchmark comparator data for use across the public sector. The supplier hosts and maintains Nexus for NCER, a secure, cloud-based education data management platform used by public sector organisations to collect, validate, analyse and report on the comparator education data provided by NCER. The platform also facilitates the secure sharing of information between Local Authorities and schools.

Access to Nexus is included within the membership with NCER. The supplier offers optional modules, including Pendulum and Broadcast, which provide enhanced functionality for sharing information with schools. These modules are available at an additional cost, require a separate agreement with the supplier, and are dependent upon continued access to the Nexus platform.
