Lot details

Lot 1

One to one therapy programmes delivered by people who are living in recovery, advocating, and giving introductions to local support groups, including family support. They will also offer a facility where the homeless can access personal hygiene equipment, along with a food and a clothing bank. The fundamental aim of the Service is to create a safe, respectful environment in the Lichfield District and Tamworth, for people with substance misuse problems run and supported by service users with many years’ lived experience in active addiction. The Key core objectives of this service are: -Reduce the harm caused by alcohol and drugs to recovery seekers, their families and the wider community -Encourage and support service users, into recovery using a recovery focused, person centred approach -Supporting recovery seekers to develop new coping skills and life tools, shared and led by people who have lived experience and who have been in similar situations and found a way out. All recovery seekers must access the service by choice and should be 18 years old plus. The supplier shall accept referrals from a wide range of sources including (but not limited to) STaRS, Recovery Services, Police, Probation, Housing and other appropriate services. This award has been made following a Direct Award A Process for an existing service to an existing provider. The lifetime value of this contract is estimated to be £999,528.00 and will run from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2029.

Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 85. The category anchor is Rehabilitation services (85312500); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
