What is being bought

Published requirement description

To replace twelve existing vehicles currently used by Housing Repairs Service and Trees and Woodlands with vehicles more specific to the needs of the Services. The twelve vehicles that are proposed to be replaced are:

  • 9 x Housing Services (Trades)
  • 2 x Trees and Woodlands
  • 1 x Civil Engineering (Street Lighting) All of these vehicles have now reached / or will have exceed the scheduled replacement date by the time of vehicle delivery.
  • No preliminary market engagement: No preliminary market engagement was carried out because: - the market is well-understood, mature, and does not require pre-market consultation to define the requirements. - there is a high risk of critical service failure if the procurement does not proceed immediately.
