- Change Increase in the overall value of the contract., Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: The contract included an option to extend the contract for a further 12 months, however the awarded value of the contract (£2,500,000) would be breached in that timeframe. An increase in unpaid debt due to the pandemic has meant SLC has had to increase the number of accounts sent out to the service provider, it would not be practical to send procure a second supplier to carry out this work in the short term. The additional value does not breach the 50% rule.
