Published requirement description

YPO have appointed Suppliers onto a Framework Agreement following a Competitive Tendering Procedure for the supply of Outdoor Furniture [for use primarily in the education market and local authority sectors. However private customers are also able to buy from YPO]. This Framework is designed to allow YPO to meet the needs of all public sector Contracting Authorities by establishing an agreement for Suppliers to deliver to YPO customers on a direct basis whereby the end customer places the order with YPO and YPO places the order with the Supplier, but the Supplier delivers direct to the end

customer.

  • The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 23 Sept 2029, 23:59 BST.

CPV: Furniture (incl. office furniture), furnishings, domestic appliances (excl. lighting) and cleaning products

Published description of the framework

A completed pricing appendix for a basket of goods was required as part of suppliers submission and was evaluated using the CIPFA % difference model.

This pricing is to be held for an Initial Period from 1st April 2026 (the commencement date of this Contract) to March 2027. After this Initial Period, any amendments to price must be

agreed with YPO in writing at least 45 days before any proposed implementation. Any price increases must be backed up with evidence to support the increase.

Suppliers will then be able to submit new pricing yearly for the following years catalogue.

What this means for your bid
  • Price carries 50 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 5 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
  • “YPO 001283 Outdoor Furniture” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract, and call-offs are awarded directly: getting appointed is the whole game.

Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
