Payment Terms

Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 3 active published awards; 2 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The current contracts are not operational as planned (EDISH), we have patients that need to be seen urgently that would benefit from this service as it avoids admitting them and restrictive practice (patient safety). We have attempted to commission EDISH services for Birmingham and Solihull and Black County twice without success so we are looking to pilot something different that is being deployed elsewhere in the NHS. This provider has been awarded the contract to offer an ED service to patients from Birmingham and Solihull and Black Country to ensure equitable access to services after being unsuccessful at commissioning this services using other PSR processes. The provider already provides this services to other NHS Trusts. Decision was agreed at WMCPC Governance meeting on 12/05/2026 Conflicts of interest identified among WMCPC Governance Meeting - 12/05/2026: 0.
