What is being bought

Published requirement description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) has awarded a sole supplier to provide a housing related floating support service for older people living in their own homes (whether owner-occupiers, Contract Holders or licensees). The service will be provided across Wrexham County Borough and will support a minimum of 110 householders. The Contract will run for an initial three (3) year term, commencing on 1st October 2025, with the option to extend for a further period of two (2) years.

  • The authority expects to re-tender this requirement around 16 May 2030, 23:59 BST.
  • No preliminary market engagement: Service review was carried out prior to the Procurement Act 2023 commencing and timescales did not allow for suitable market engagement events.
