warehouse.
Start Date: 1st September 2026
End Date: 31st August 2030
Estimated Value: £450000
Please note the contract award notice was published yesterday, however the estimated value required updating. This notice therefore replaces the previously published notice. For the avoidance of doubt, only 1 contract is to be awarded.
This contract award notice triggers an 8 working day standstill. Providing no challenge is received, standstill will end at midnight on the 27th of July. Please note all bidders have been notified of this.

This service is required to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of lifting and handling equipment used in a home environment, and so that the Council is in compliance with its obligations with regard to: The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities), safeguarding and infection control policies in accordance with the previously mentioned acts, and local authority governance standards.

It is intended that the future contract length will be for 36 months (with a provision to extend by up to 24 months). The estimated annual contract value (including VAT) is £250,000.
