What is being bought
North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) (the "Council") wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services Short Term Home Care Services.
The Short-Term Homecare Service will deliver short term "enabling" home care and support to people living across all areas of North Northamptonshire.
The Service will be available to all adults ordinarily resident in North Northamptonshire who are registered with a Northamptonshire Clinical Commissioning Group GP.
It is anticipated the majority of individuals referred to the Service are likely to be 65 years and over due to the prevalence of care and support needs in this age profile.
The Service will be required to deliver home care on a short-term basis to meet a range of needs, including but not limited to:
• Supporting discharge following a period of inpatient care
• For the prevention of admission to hospital
• personal care at end of life,
• emergency respite
The Light Touch Regime (LTR) applies to the Services under this Contract, as per Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
