What is being bought
The procurement of the operation of 'Registered Local Bus services' in the local authority areas of Tyne and Wear with effect from 23rd March 2025. It is anticipated that 15 contracts will be let and operate between 23rd March 2025 to 21st March 2026. Services provided will operate to specified timetables. The vehicles required will be low floor, easy access, meeting a minimum of Euro 5 or Euro 6 engine emission standards, depending on the service tendered, and meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 with a minimum capacity specified within the individual Invitations to Tender.
