What is being bought
The Contracting Authority is awarding contracts for clinical services providers to deliver Neurophysiology Testing and Reporting for patients of Lincolnshire. The services will be delivered at all Acute sites within the hospitals of United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The procurement consists of lots as detailed in this notice and within the procurement documentation published with this open invitation to tender. Contracts will be awarded for a period of three years, with the option to extend by up to 24 months. The maximum term for this contract award is therefore five years, or 60 months. It was anticipated to award contracts and commence the services on 1 October 2021, though this was subject to change depending on the award and mobilisation period required for these services, and service commencement dates started 01 December 21 under the awarded contracts. There is no guarantee of this activity and an annual value of £570,000 is based on previous aggregate annual spend for all lots, which is then multiplied by the maximum contract term to estimate the value of this contract. The value of the individual lots cannot be provided as the service configuration in this specification has changed from the previous method of delivery and activity is not guaranteed. The length and estimated value stipulated in this notice for the opportunity is on the basis of a full five year contract being awarded, so includes the original term of three years and option to extend for the additional two years. Recommendation to award was approved by the Trust for the following two (2) providers: Lot 1: Provision of Neurophysiology Services - Electromyography (EMG), Complex Nerve Conduction Studies, (CNCS) and Single Fibre EMGs - Awarded to: Mediservices Healthcare Ltd., and Midlands Private Neurophysiology Ltd. Lot 2: Provision of Electroencephalographic (EEG), Routine Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) & Evoked Potential Testing (EPT) - Awarded to: Mediservices Healthcare Ltd., and Midlands Private Neurophysiology Ltd.
