This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The Council has followed the Most Suitable Provider Process under Regulation 10 and has identified Community Dental Services CIC as the most suitable provider. This contract has not yet formally been awarded.
Publisher note: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to West Northamptonshire Council by midnight on 4 November 2026. Written representations should be sent to [email protected]. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. West Northamptonshire Council intends to award the contract to Community Dental Services CIC following the Most Suitable Provider Process. The award decision-maker is the Public Health Service Lead, West Northamptonshire Council. No conflicts or potential conflicts of interest were declared. The relative importance of the key criteria was: Quality and Innovation - Very High Value - High Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability - High Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice - Medium Social Value - Low Community Dental Services CIC was identified as the most suitable provider based on its experience of delivering dental epidemiology programmes, specialist workforce and capacity, established stakeholder relationships and ability to deliver the service in accordance with National Dental Epidemiology Programme requirements. The provider was assessed against all five PSR key criteria and the basic selection criteria and was considered to meet the requirements. No other providers expressed an interest following the Council's market engagement and Intended Approach Notice.
