The Tender documents can be accessed when logged into In-Tend by selecting ‘View Details’ on the relevant tender advert and clicking the ‘Express Interest’ tab. Once in the tender there are five tabs, namely ‘Tender’, ‘ITT – documents’, ‘Correspondence’, ‘Clarifications’ and ‘History’. Select the 2nd tab (ITT - documents) where you will find useful information under ‘Tender Details’. What is being bought
Mole Valley District Council (the Council) invites tenders for the provision of Parking Pay Terminals & ongoing maintenance services. The Council has 23 car parks across Mole Valley including the Swan Centre multi-storey car park in Leatherhead and the St Martin’s Walk multi-storey car park in Dorking with the remainder being surface car parks. The Council currently has 40 operational pay terminals (in addition to 4 out of service), 33 of which are more than 15 years old and only take cash payments. The Council requires the current pay terminal portfolio to be replaced with 41 new payment terminals (with the option for 2 additional pay terminals in Leatherhead Leisure Centre car parks) which accept cash and card payments in addition to allowing the use of payment wallets. The Council also requires the supplier to service and maintain the payment terminals for the next seven years. The Commencement Date for the delivery of the goods and services is scheduled to be on 18th December 2026 at 00:00 hours (with required installation works to commence from 4th January 2027). The Contract will be awarded for a period of 12 days, 4 months and 7 years until 30th April 2034 (after the first 12 days and 4 months, the 1st of May of each contract year will be subsequently treated as the ‘contract anniversary’).
