This Notice is to provide further information on a proposed 3 year, £6M extension, to ensure the Department's systems are compatible with the common UK digital platform, including ongoing maintenance of the motorway control system and provision of a new IP transmission network. Technical difficulties, including exclusive rights (such as intellectual property rights) require the extension of the contract with CUBIC Transportation Systems Ltd. This contract will be modified under the Public Contracts Regulations Clause 72(1)(b).
