The design and construction works to be undertaken by the principal contractor will include, but are not limited to the following main elements: Completion of the design. The Contractor will complete the design of the permanent works and undertake the full design and detail of the temporary works including shoring of the HDD (Henderson Dry Dock) walls and cofferdam. Site establishment and preparations. Construction Works - Installing a cofferdam to the front of the Dry Dock; - Pumping out the Dry Dock; - Install temporary works to restrain dry dock walls - Remove and dispose of the remaining sediment to the base of the dry dock; - Break out and remove sill; - Increase the depth of the dry dock by approximately 1m by means of breaking out or planning concrete; - Removal and disposal of the RORO ramps (concrete slab over steel ramp); - Extend broken back dry dock walls (under RORO Ramp) to ground level and make good surrounding paving; - Associated mooring / quay furniture - Removal of cofferdam and other temporary works; - Performance monitoring of the new structure including undertaking surveys during the defects period.Contract periodNot publishedEligibilityNot publishedOptions / renewalNot published
