Coverage: 1 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Minuteful Kidney is a home urine test for measuring albumin-to-creatinine ratio (“ACR”) for use, in primary care, in patients at risk of chronic kidney disease (“CKD”). The aim of the technology is to improve uptake of ACR testing in patients with conditions including diabetes and high blood pressure in order to promote early identification and treatment of CKD and reduce rates of end-stage renal disease (“ESRD”). The Health Board wish to pursue this new innovative technology within the North Ceredigion Cluster to boost the uptake of ACR testing and reduce the demand on primary and secondary care sites with staff time and resources saved. The solution provides an end to end service with the supplier assuming responsibility for onboarding patients and positively impacting cases to reduce acute kidney injury. The procurement is a pilot scheme as the technology is a new innovation and unique to the market with only one supplier in the niche marketspace. There are also no public procurement frameworks available to link the requirement to.
