This robust service offering is expected to deliver approximately 21 million tests per annum. Advanced testing capabilities may also be needed, including Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), molecular diagnostics, and specialist haematology. Other pathology services may be required throughout the duration of the contract. Whilst the operational delivery of the Contract will be delivered by the Supplier, the Clinical responsibility will remain with MSE. Essential support services will also form a significant component of this partnership. We anticipate these to comprise of sample transportation, a dedicated customer service centre, assistance in the management or deployment of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solution, phlebotomy, and effective management of Point of Care Testing (POCT) devices. The Services are expected to be delivered at both Trust and Supplier locations.
