Market Engagement for the Provision of Liaison & Diversion Service in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford, Coventry and Warwickshire

The Liaison and Diversion service provision will cater for vulnerable individuals of all ages in the offender pathway and help to inform subsequent decisions, about where an individual is best placed to receive treatment, taking into account public safety, safety of the individual and punishment of the offence. The service provider will be required to deliver an outcome based high quality and integrated Liaison & Diversion service, operating at various points of the criminal justice pathway including police custody, courts and community within the stated areas and across the Police Force footprint. This service will be required to include Peer Support embedded into the operating model. This service is expected to be fully operational by 1 April 2022. The contract term for this procurement will be 3 years with an option to extend by 2 years (3 + 2 = 5) therefore 5 years in total.
