What is being bought
NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement (Midlands) is carrying out a market engagement exercise. on Monday 19th April 2021, for the Provision of Liaison & Diversion Service in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford, Coventry and Warwickshire areas.
As part of the market engagement event the commissioners are giving providers who are interested and able to deliver the full liaison and diversion service, the opportunity for a 1:1 session. These will be for 30 minutes for which you will need to book.

The service provider will be required to deliver an outcome based high quality and integrated Liaison & Diversion service, operating at various points of the criminal justice pathway including police custody, courts and community within the stated areas and across the Police Force footprint. This service will be required to include Peer Support embedded into the operating model. This service is expected to be fully operational by 1 April 2022. The contract term for this procurement will be 3 years with an option to extend by 2 years (3 + 2 = 5) therefore 5 years in total. The aim of the market engagement exercise is to inform potential providers on the opportunity.
