Market Engagement Event for Suppliers of Independent Supported Living for Adults with Mild/Moderate Needs

South Tyneside Council would like to invite you to a Supplier Engagement Event for Independent Supported Living for Adults with mild/moderate needs, to be held 10:00-12:00 Friday 14th November 2025 at One Trinity Green, Havelock Street, South Shields, NE33 5RW. The views of suppliers at this event will help inform the service model and subsequent tender exercise. This event will be focused on outline proposals and seek your feedback on how this could be delivered. We will also take you through the Council's tender requirements and potential timeline. Development of proposals to date has been informed by co-production work with users of services, families/carers, and wider professionals. We will present an overview on the day of the event, with a view to hearing your feedback on our proposals to further shape the service specification and contract requirements. Due to limitations on the capacity of the venue, places are limited to 1 or 2 representatives per supplier and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation or non-participation in this supplier market engagement event shall not prevent any supplier participating in any potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of this process shall place any supplier at an advantage in any potential procurement process. Participation in the market engagement process will be at each supplier's own cost. No expense in responding to this process will be reimbursed by the Council.
