In addition to the aforementioned sites, the Council owns and operates a sixth Household Recycling Centre located at Castlehill Industrial Estate, Carluke, ML8 5UF, with an adjoining Waste Transfer facility. The new contract will contain provisions which will give the Council the option to include the management and operation of Carluke HWRC within the Contract at any point during the contact duration, subject to internal approval, availability of funding and agreement with the Contractor through the Change Control Procedure contained in the Contract.
